How to Write an Amazon Bestseller
Renowned book reviewer, Robert Bruss wrote: On a scale of one to ten, Carolyn Warren's book is an off-the-charts 12.
Nonfiction That Sells The secret to writing a successful nonfiction book is to have something unique to say that interests the reader. The problem with most nonfiction books is that they're boring. They fail to stir up the reader's emotions. A great book does not make good bedtime reading--think about that! If I can make finance interesting, any topic can be interesting. It all starts with the first sentence. Does Your First Sentence Pass This Test? The purpose of the first sentence is to get the reader to read the second sentence. The purpose of the second sentence is to get the reader to read the third sentence. And so on, until they're so hooked, they stay up way too late turning the pages. I sweated over my first six words, and here's what I ended up with: "Many secrets are told over lunch." Who's not going to read on to find out what the secrets are? Grabbing the readers' attention right from the start is what makes them pull out their credit card and make the purchase. One Great Book Leads to

ECPA Award Finalist
I was honored to write this book with Jennifer Polimino, a vibrant Christian, mother of two, and certified fitness trainer, specializing in helping moms-to-be and new moms. Jennifer felt that God was leading her to write a book, but she needed help. She had the idea and a file of notes, but she was not a writer. Jennifer contacted me; and together, we produced a book that's touched the lives of women all over the world. Consequently, it was a finalist in the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association book awards, Inspirational category. The Idea and Concept When Jennifer was expecting her first baby, the Holy Spirit led her to pray week-by-week for her baby's development -- both physically and spiritually. For instance, when the baby's ears were developing, she prayed not only that her baby would have perfect hearing, but also that her child would learn to listen to God's voice and follow Him as he grew. In this ground-breaking book, Jennifer's personal journals -- often funny, always heart-touching -- are shared with readers. Each chapter covers one week of pregnancy, explaining the baby's physical development and how to relate that to the baby's spiritual well-being. At the end of each chapter is a prayer, Scriptures for meditation, and a place for the reader to journal herr own memories. Praying Through Your Pregnancy makes a wonderful gift book and keepsake to share with baby as he or she grows up. Don't Miss the SequelWhen Jennifer Polimino’s son was born with severe breathing problems, the medical staff whisked him out of the delivery room to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She called after her husband, “Don’t let him out of your sight!” and then was left behind. All she could do was cry out to God, a situation that set her on a path of prayer, committed to take her precious son before God’s throne in every circumstance. Each year, as her son grows older, she has found new opportunities to pray for him and herself. In Praying Through Your Child’s Early Years, Jennifer and her coauthor, Carolyn, share with moms how to meet the challenges and joys of motherhood by turning to God in all things.
